Steps to Install LineageOS 17.1 Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite
i) First, you need to copy the TWRP image file, GApps file, and LOS 17.1 ROM zip file to there internal memory of your device.
ii) Reboot your ‘Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite into recovery mode.’
iii) Once you boot into TWRP recovery mode, you can see the recovery menu. Tap on the install button >> Install Image >> Select the TWRP Image file from the location.
iv) Swipe right to ‘confirm flash.’
v) Again reboot to recovery mode.
vi) A TWRP menu will again appear, you need to go to the ‘wipe section.’ Select the Advanced Wipe >> Select the data, system, vendor, cache.
Choose the ‘swipe option’ to ‘wipe it.’

viii) Remount system and vendor manually and then install the GApps ‘.zip file’ as well.
ix) Reboot your device into the new system and wait until the boot process takes a few minutes.
